Dark-haired Jessika Alaura has just graduated from Mott Community College in her hometown. “I grew up in Flint with four brothers and a sister. My mother and grandmother raised us—all six of us,” explains all-natural Jessika. “I learned to work for what I had, and I think that’s my greatest strength—I’ve never had anything handed to me.” The nursing graduate’s hard work and strength paid off quite nicely. Not only is she our Coed of the Month for November 2011, but she also finished her degree with a 3.2 GPA. “I always took a few hours out of my day to study while drinking Red Bull and eating Skittles,” giggles the Indian-American. “I always told my friends and family that someday I would be in Playboy.” Even though Miss Alaura is now a Playboy veteran, she says modeling isn’t as effortless as she makes it seem. “Shooting for Playboy actually isn’t as easy as it looks. There’s a lot of bending, a lot of hours and a lot of makeup, touchup and hair,” confesses Jessika. Playboy fans definitely feel it was all worth it.
